Microsoft Photoshop

For those of you who haven’t seen this hilarity yet: this is an ad from Microsoft for whatever ridiculous gimcrackery they’re trying to sell these days:

Apparently, though, there are no black people in Poland. So when they sent the image to that market, they edited out the guy in the middle and stapled someone else’s head on.

As bad as that looks, though, it could have been worse.

Interesting how the second guy’s head is canted to the opposite direction. What language is that last one in?

    Wookie, I imagine.

Would it have been any different if they reshot the photo?

  4. Pitt says:

And what the heck is that woman holding in her hand that’s making her smile so much?

  5. Pitt says:

Looking at it better, that’s a really, really crappy p-shop. The cracker in the second picture is all blurry. And if you look at the hand, it’s still the same shade as before, ie: Negro.

I think calling this a Photoshop is actually insulting to the graphic designers who know how to use it. This sort of travesty smacks of MS Paint.

I’ve done better work in MS Paint.
