Sense of Humor?

Sarah Palin continues to prove she has absolutely no sense of humor whatsoever. I pray for the GOP’s soul, if that woman ever gets near a leadership role again.

“My mother did not carry me around under her arm like a loaf of French bread the way former Governor Palin carries her son Trig around looking for sympathy and votes.”

Pwned indeed. That’s a classic line.

When I first saw the episode, my first thought was, “They’re gonna go nuts with this. Even if the Palin Pedigree is smart enough not to whine, Rush or someone else is going to yelp about it.”

My second thought (the one that Sarah or Bristol or Castrol GTX Palin never quite made it to) was, “Ohhh…the girl with Down’s was smarter and more accomplished than any of the main characters on Family Guy, who represent the average American dumbass. It was social commentary.”

I haven’t seen family guy since last season, but I thought they had moved from edgingly funny into just plain gross. There must be a good plot of edgyness vs. good art vs. unpleasant somewhere.

It’s sort of like The Simpsons — once or twice a season they’ll manage to capture the magic of the early seasons.

I was watching the first season episode where Peter opens a bar in the basement, and I was amazed that the show was genuinely funny without resorting to gay jokes, Jew jokes, or bodily function humor.

It interesting to see the person who has by Downs Syndrome having no problem with the humor but the Palins who are affected by it get all up in arms.

Also note to Mrs. Palin: your in the public spotlight, get used to it.

I do sort of like seeing the right wing nut playing the political correctness card, though. It’s a nice change of pace from seeing it from the lefties.
