“The 1812 Overture” has one less character than “Stairway to Heaven”. Which could be easily remedied by adding an exclamation point. It does have cannons, after all.
I can envision the Will Ferrell and Christopher Walken of the 19th century performing a skit on The 1812 Overture with Walken running around saying “Needs More Cannon!” and Ferrell blowing his head off.
OK, I’ll get this ball rolling:
1812: No guitars
Stariway: No cannons
1812: Would be better with guitars
Stairway: MUCH better with cannons!!!
1812: written for the Russian Queen
Stairway: Sung frequently by queens
