    Unfortunately, mama done took my Kodachrome away.

    Film will be around.

    CDs killed vinyl records right? We all drink New Coke.

    There will always be (thinking more artist type folk) that will keep film alive. For the general population digital is the way to go

    Film will be around, but film processing is getting harder and harder to find. I imagine if you’re not the “darkroom-it-yourself” type, it’s going to be really scarce in ten more years.

    I think most ast photographers already process their own film anyway. I’ve been told it’s an art in itself, and the most magical part of photography.

  5. BrianN says:

    That is art photographers. I don’t know what an ast photographer is.

  6. Pitt says:

    @BrianN

    I kindof don’t want to know what an ast photographer is.

    @Pitt,

    To quote Bender from the finale of Futurama, “The use of words expressing something other than their literal intention…now that. Is! Irony!” So you would be absolutely correct.

  8. Pitt says:

    But is it Irony….or Coincidence?

    Two people walking down a street see each other…they are friends. Coincidence.

    Two people walking down the street walk directly into the path of a bus and are killed. They used to know each other. Irony.

  9. BrianN says:

    @Pitt

    maybe if two people meet each other in the street and the first one says “man, I’m so hung over I feel like I got run over by a bus”

    then the other one says,

    “Not me, I feel grea….” splat (hit by bus sound)

  10. matt says:

    “Tragedy is when I get a hangnail. Comedy is when you fall down a manhole and die.”

    @BrianN

    I was just giving Bradley’s example. I may have misremembered, though.
