Thoughts on Eagles/Bills

Sorry I’m posting this so late – I actually exported the “Football Night In America” DVR file to my computer so I could capture this image:

This is apparently what it looks like when a coach’s veteran defensive lineman bites on an obvious hard count and loses the game for you. I hope Juqua Parker got cut in the locker room, and they wouldn’t let him back on the bus.

Other thoughts:

  • Three games in a row with pick-6 interceptions. Two home games in a row with four picks each. Yeah, we really miss Whitner in the secondary.
  • George Wilson is a monster. Another excellent game for the unsung hero at safety.
  • Parrish goes down, Naaman steps up. Jones goes down, Martin steps up. Our receiving corps is like the island of misfit toys, but they just don’t stop.
  • Hope Vick likes the taste of our turf. He sure ate enough of it.

I’m just glad ESPN is done talking about the now 1 – 4 “Dream Team.” Oh wait, this is the NFL we’re talking about. If they don’t meet their quota of devoting an hour of their day to the Eagles, Cowboys, and Giants the world would end.

Also there is a time and a place for the commissioner to honor Al Davis. During a crucial 3rd quarter drive in an intense game is neither.

    So who won?

    The game? The Bills, 31-24.

In unrelated news, wow, was I ever bad at predicting this season.

    W00t, Buffalo!

I gotta find a Bills bar around here somewhere. Its Bandwagon fever! Catch it!

  5. matt says:

Nobody circles the bandwagons like the Buffalo Bills.
